Filing a claim for compensation

If you have suffered damage to your property as a result of the actions of the FIOD, in some cases you may be eligible for compensation.
For example: during a search, the door of a property that you rent out was damaged.

You can apply for compensation by letter.

Include the following details in your request:

• your name and address
• your telephone number and email address
• the date the damage was caused
• the case number (if known)
• a description of the damage (with photos if possible)
• the amount required to repair the damage (with itemised invoices or quotations for the repair costs)
